False Water Cobras
Hydrodynastes gigas
False water cobras are native to the wetlands of central South America and grow to 5-7′ long on average. They are rear fanged venomous, incredibly heavy bodied, and have an intense, oftentimes chaotic, feeding response. They are well known for their unique and endearing personalities, which holds true for most individuals. We currently keep one FWC, Tempest (2020 female).
