Baron’s Racer

Philodryas baroni

Baron’s racers are native to Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina, and grow to 4.5-6′ on average. They are rear fanged venomous, although tend to be very reluctant to bite or become defensive in any way. They prefer to stay up off the ground, gliding over branches in a unique style that is both graceful and impressive to see. We currently keep one Baron’s racer, Rosalind (2016 female).
